Purposes, duration, scope and nature of data processing
The personal data you provide is processed by us exclusively for the purpose of booking our holiday apartment. We collect, record, store and use the data in order to guarantee the booking and the stay, and to answer your enquiries in advance or provide you with information in advance. Furthermore, the data serves us afterwards (after your stay or departure) to identify guests.
Under no circumstances is the collected data sold or marketed. If you wish to book our holiday apartment, we record and store your name, address, telephone number and email address.
The personal data is processed and stored by the controller only for as long as is necessary for the booking (to achieve the above storage purpose) and for as long as we are required to retain the data for evidence purposes or on the basis of statutory retention obligations. Afterwards your data is deleted, provided it is no longer required.
In addition, only the necessary data is stored from you, so that the principle of data minimisation is observed. Your personal data is generally not passed on to third parties.
Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for the data processing is either consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a), the necessity for the performance of a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) (e.g. a contract for the use of the holiday apartment), or a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A legitimate interest may, for example, be an economic interest. It is also in our interest to be able to contact and identify those interested in and users/guests of our holiday apartment.
Rights of data subjects
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:
- Right of access under Art. 15 GDPR
- Right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR
- Right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR
- Right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR

You also have a right to the rectification of incorrect data and the right to block or erase data. You may also have the scope of the data processing restricted, request your stored data in a common format, or object to the entire data processing. Cookies
Cookies are used on our website. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and stores on your computer. These cookies serve to make our offering more user-friendly and secure. You can prevent the installation of cookies via a setting in your browser; please note, however, that you may then not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent. You can manage your consent regarding cookies at any time via the cookie banner.
Server data
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (so-called server log files) includes, for example: the browser types and versions used, the operating system, the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the website you visit and the website from which you visit us (referrer), as well as the date and time of access. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. It is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the website content you have requested and is unavoidable when using the internet. It is processed in particular to ensure a problem-free connection and smooth use of the website, and to evaluate system security and stability. After seven days the above data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible, or only with disproportionate effort, to draw conclusions about a specific or identifiable natural person. The anonymised data is processed exclusively for statistical purposes.
Use of Google Maps
We use the „Google Maps“ component of Google Inc. on our site to display a description of the apartment’s location. When the „Google Maps“ component is called up, Google sets a cookie in order to process user settings and user data when displaying the page and the associated functions on which „Google Maps“ is integrated. This cookie is generally not deleted when you close your browser but expires after a certain period unless you delete it beforehand. If you do not agree to this processing, you can deactivate the „Google Maps“ service and thus prevent the data transfer to Google by deactivating the JavaScript function in your browser. Please note that you may then not be able to use the map, or only to a limited extent. The use of „Google Maps“ and the information obtained via it is subject to Google’s terms of use and the additional terms and conditions for „Google Maps“.
Contact option
We offer you the option of contacting us, for example by email (info@herkulesblick.de). In such cases, the details you provide are stored for the purpose of processing and handling your contact enquiry. This data is also not passed on to third parties. Please note that internet-based data transmissions may have security gaps. You are free to transmit the data to us by other means (e.g. by telephone).
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to change or adapt our data protection where necessary. In such cases we will also amend our privacy policy on this website accordingly.

If you have questions about this privacy policy, further questions about data protection, or wish to receive further information from us, please also contact us using the contact details above.
